This Introduction to Pest Control short course is suitable for those who want to learn new skills or brush up on the ones they already have. There will be classroom based delivery and practical demonstrations on pest control techniques. There will also be the opportunity to walk on the estate looking for examples of pest damage and activity and to discuss potential management techniques.
Course overview:
Without proper control rabbits, rats, squirrels and mole can cause major damage to crops and turf. On this course you will learn about pest control techniques for the following species:

Bring suitable clothing for both classroom and outdoor activities.
Good boots and tight fitting work gloves are recommended.
